This will be my first year teaching as a first grade educator at Lexington Elementary! I could not be more honored and excited to take part in the education of your students in a town that is so near and dear to my heart. I am a native of Huntsville, AL, where I graduated from high school at Westminster Christian Academy in 2011. I attended college at the University of Alabama, and later Athens State University where I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with minors in Educational Technology and Education of English Language Learners. My family has had its roots in the town of Lexington for generations and I have spent a lot of time here throughout my life. While I did grow up primarily living in Huntsville, I had always had my heart set on moving back to Lexington. I feel privileged to not only now be living in what I've always claimed as my "home town" but to be a part of the community as I educate Lexington's youth.
I look forward to meeting all of my students' parents and building a working relationship for the educational benefit of your precious children! Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns you may have! I would also be happy to set up meetings to discuss anything, if need be.
